LeapFrog Editorial Review
Young ones can be animal rescuers alongside Diego when they play with Leapster’s “Go Diego Go! Animal Rescuer” learning game. While kids maneuver Diego through a rainforest, desert or Antarctica by climbing, jumping, zip-lining and hang gliding, they can practice many early number, math and geometry skills. Each of the six action-packed games and “mini games” features three progressive skill levels and are a super fun way to build key skills such as number recognition, addition, more than/less than, shape recognition, sequencing and more. Even when players have mastered the skills in all levels, the games are loads of fun to play over and over for both boys and girls. Kids can also learn facts about animals native to each of the three regions by collecting fact cards for their virtual field journal. Once they collect all of the animal fact cards, they become an “Official Animal Rescuer”. Parents can print a certificate for their child through LeapFrog Connect which features various rewards that kids earn to keep the fun and learning going.
