Running your very own theme park is a dream-come-true for many kids. Leapster’s “Scholastic My Amusement Park” learning game makes this fantasy a virtual reality, while also teaching key problem solving, logic, basic money skills and so much more. Kids will be encouraged to be good business and money managers right from the start by using their funds to create their own amusement park by buying games, food booths and rides. Kids then “build” their own booths and attractions by unscrambling pieces in a memory challenge. Young park owners can track their earnings and expand their park with more food booths, games and rides, including the thrilling “super coaster.”
Players must keep on top of the trash and maintenance to keep the crowds coming back, just like any business owner. But the fun part is that they do so by playing games! Five additional games will test kids’ memory and logic skills. Players can also learn about recycling by sorting trash in the “Fast Trash” game.
With three skill levels across all games, kids of varying learning levels can enjoy the fun and excitement. When kids have “filled” their amusement park or built the super coaster, they will earn a printable certificate which parents can access on LeapFrog Connect.
