LeapFrog Editorial Review

Kids can enjoy SpongeBob SquarePants’ wacky nautical world while learning important math, reading and logic skills in the fun-filled “Spongebob Squarepants Saves the Day” learning game for Leapster.

A popular game may be “Conveyer Chaos,” starring Patrick, who players must move back and forth on conveyer belts to collect specific objects or shapes. In the advanced levels, kids can learn to solve math equations, and identify letter sounds and categories of objects, such as instruments.  Another fun selection is “Counting Claw,” which can be a terrific way to learn about different coin denominations and how to count change. As parents know, when kids learn to count money, basic math skills are also reinforced!

Packed with five skill-developing activities and entertaining games plus Spongebob’s typical ooey-gooey grossness, “Spongebob Squarepants Saves the Day” is sure to be a favorite. (Parents be warned ... wait until the kids aren’t around to try it out because this one’s hard to put down).
